Closed 5 Apr 2019

Opened 22 Feb 2019

Overview

Metro North HHS Close the Gap Plan 2019-2022 provides the framework to ensure we are the national leader in the delivery of effective health services that are planned, supported and culturally equipped to increase access and improve health outcomes both in acute and community settings for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

Why your views matter

Metro North Hospital and Health Service is committed to Closing the Gap between Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous people on a range of health outcomes, measures and experiences. We continue to recognise that in order to close this gap we need to work together with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, communities, staff and stakeholders to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our Indigenous community.
