Residential Transition Care program embarked on a trial of a new model for medical services at the facility at Zillmere. This trial continued for 15 weeks, from 10th October 2022 to 20th January 2023.

The wound/stoma service at The Prince Charles Hospital provides expert care and advice to patients, carers and all clinical staff on all aspects of wound care, stoma and fistula management.
All pre-operative and post operative stoma patients are supported daily until they are discharged home. Patients will be followed up in the Surgical Outpatients department by the General Surgeons and the stomal therapy nurses.
